I'm hoping that Soyo comes out with an nForce2 Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition. I bet it'll be a kick a$$ board ('cause thier KT400 was a top performer), plus it'll be loaded with goodies, and I love the Platinum Edition color scheme. :kay:

a link to a pic of the KT400 version here!

I'd like to get the full version, but for the love of god, they're expensive, even used. I may be installing Linux Mandrake on it next.
Bragging rights very true...but then again he ask the question and he needed a answer i guess so he can't start off. He should have asked something like; what is the best setup i can possibly with this amount of money, and this is what i am gonna do with it.

Sounds like fun...sounds like soemthing i had in mine. Where do you keep everything...you live on your own?:rolleyes2

In our house, which four computer enthusiasts live in, we have 12 or 13 computers. Each one of us has a high end gaming box, one utility box and one linux box... there are a few xtras around also. So, having 3 our 4 machines in one room seems quite normal to me. I think it's going to be more so with the general populous as time goes by... There will be a terminal in the kitchen, TV room and den for average house holds. As LCD tech gets less expensive, it's making the idea of having a monitor in various places, which a CRT just wouldn't go, much easier to tolerate. Where the hell am I going with this?? :blah:

    back to work... :)
