    I was wondering if u could put old SDRAM like PC100 or PC133 in a new mobo designed for DDR :?:. It would be a terrible bottleneck and all, but would it work? :confused: Just wonderin cuz DDR is SDRAM just running at double data rate.

    sorry, but no.
    if you look they are differnent in the pin/slot area.
    you can buy MoBo's that will let you use either or, but not both at the same time.

    Hmm it'd be cool if someone made a mobo with a DIMM where u could put in some old, cheap SDRAM as a way to replace the pagefile on ur hdd. So that the system would fill the faster DDR first, then goto the SDRAM instead of a pagefile on the hdd. Just my :2cents:
