    but whats the deal with
    Elitegroup K7sem Rev 3.0C with Duron 1300 Pro (900mhz) $40
    why 900 and not 1300 MHz?
    am i missing something?:confused:

    Its some strange marketing thing from Elitegroup I believe. It shows up as runnig at 945 MHZ.

    Vinnie AMD names their processors differently than Intel. That 1300 is meant to mean it performs around the area of a 1300mhz Intel processor.

    Actually, the reasoning behind the differnce there is ECS and PCChips pulled a nice luttle scam, they thought since AMD used PR on Athlon XP'stheyd slap a PR on a Duron and call it a Duron Pro, as the common PC idiot would fall for the scam, and think they were gettin a 1.3 though they were only getting a Duron 800 on a slightly elevated FSB.

    Truly, this PR rating IS inaccurate and is NOT issued by AMD, but by ECS/PCChips, for their little scam theyve got going

    The board bios is probably set at 100 bus not 133?just a thought...
