    About the darwin v6.6.2. I tried it out for a few weeks on another hd, never really used it for much. Got rid of it last night, too busy with everything else, and needed that hd for something. It was fussy about network cards and would not work with certain brands like dlink.

    7.0.1 wont install on my system with my onboard Realtek NIC. Hopefully they will continue to boost support on future releases.

    You would have to disable the obn and use a compatable pci nic, there is a list of them in the readme.

    There is a perfect emulation scheme for the mac os x.

    it is called pear pc emulator found here

    http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/

    and the os you can find yourself :P

    It works with numerous os's so i hope you find it helpful in your endeavour.

    Emulation usually is. It's the same with Basilisk II and the Quadra series Macs, only they're so slow to start with you barely notice the difference between emulation and the real thing (on a fairly fast machine anyway).
