    dwwin.exe error pops up when starting box. My wifes win98se box doesn't have this file but mine does. My other box is winxp & it has the file in c:\windows\system32 Is this a patch i got by mistake that was ment for winxp & now is on my win98? there is no uninstall & it can't be deleted coz windoz just writes another version if ya try & rename it. If it an't ness for win98se I will delete it via dos mode, thx

    Well it certainly is not on my SE box and that has a fairly extensive setup but do check any third party software that you may be using. :smokin:

    I deleted the dirty dang dog @ the dos mode, booted riteup 'cept now lookin' for dwwin.dll. no prob, once up I flushed that sucker outa the registry and any ref to dwwin, goodriddence, thank you

    Heck yes coz that dwwin thang wasn't 'sposed to be in me system folder on win98se anyway, that's why the dam error:cheers:
