Should I get the 1700+ chip or the 1800+ chip...
I have seen some people overclock the 1700+ to 2.6ghz with water cooling:D
But what about the 1800+.... Is it a better chip... and also how would I go about checking if these chips are the Thoroughbred ones or not?

    Thanks, in advance.
I am going to buy one of these for my Chaintech Apogee 7VJL Motherboard:D

I have heard/read that the 1700+ is (one of) the best overclocker from the athlon family. I donīt think they sell anymore those Palomino chips...at least not where I live!

yeah, you can even get the 1700+ to 2.3 GHz on air cooling. And that has to be a standard, because xoxide.com is now making OC'ed systems to buy. They use an SLK-900 w/ 92mm 4LED fan and get it to those ridiculously high speeds
