Hi tweakers, I am a noob overclocker. I would like to squeeze the last stable drop of "fastness" from my new built rig. My only bios adjustables are the cpu Vcore and FSB, and memory timings. My MSI GNB MAX FISR is supposed to be a "work station solution" and NOT an oc'ers dream mobo. The only thing I can do for my AGP is set it to 8x. Am I screwed as far as oc'ing the 9700 pro I got? Default settings for the FSB is 133, how high can I go with this? The manual says this :
    Support 100/133MHz FSB
Support 400/533MHz Intel NetBurst micro-architecture bus
A BIOS update I got says "Fixed FSB set as 133 will run as 136 ",
whats that mean? What I got is listed below, I got a fresh install of XP and not much else on her.... what would one of you super-clockers do with what I have?:?:
Everything has been updated to the latest versions.

FYI, ran 3DMarks 2003 on it with no adjustments and got a 5023.

On P4 CPU's, the only OC option you have is FSB adjustment. And, Video cards only support software OC's. No mobos have Vid card OC features in the BIOS. Remeber, once you start to get up to higher FSB speeds, you will need to increase the vCore voltages.
