    Hello,

I am a proud owner of a 3.06ghz p4 with an Asus p4g8x deluxe MB 1024mb and an ATI RADEON 9800pro videocard.

I would like to overclock my system, but even when I only raise my fsb to 140(133standard), my 3d mark 2001se will stop.

what are my possibilities to do?

Make sure you are running with suffiecient cooling. Also, make sure that you RAM/FSB timings are set to standalone. You may have just gotten a bad OCing CPU though, but it happens

Raising both ya CPU and Memory voltages by 0.1 volt may help ya out.

What's the rating of ya memory? :?:

I'd really be interested in knowing what kind of 3DMark03 scores you're getting with that system in stock speeds.

I found the solution for my problem.

I bought the new ASUS P4C800 mb. Now I can overclock my processor.

I have already seen my 3001 benchmark at 17500!!

2003 has not been tried yet.

Thanks for your suggestions and good luck.

Sorry Woody_87th but first I will attempt to pass the 18000 score!

At this moment I have reached 17831, with my 3.06 pumped to 157 mhz (=3.611ghz), but do not worry within 2 days max, I will try 2003.

I hope I can find my 2003 cd because I do not feel like downloading such a program (app 170mb)

    WE WILL SEE!!

    Just keep checking this thread.

( I will run it at my current and my stock speeds, ok?)

    Groeten uit Holland
    Wim
