    im a newby at o/c but i wanna try to o/c my p4 1500mhz
    anyway i went to bios and i saw p4 1500mhz i try to select it but it dint let me can any1 plz explain me how to do it?
    and i wanna know if i gotta have super cooling system
    and if 5 fans are enough :D

    Well you only have the option of o/c'n ya FSB (so long as ya BIOS supports it) but I usually raise both the memory and CPU voltage 0.1v and then start takin' the FSB up at 5MHz intervals plus if ya hit a blackscreen don't dispair just clear the CMOS and go back to ya last good settin'.

    Yeah the amount of times the clear Cmos jumper has been shorted on my XP system :D

    Could you give us a little bit more info on your system? It will help the replies be more spefic and help you overclock your pc easier.

    Ya motherboard manual should detail this proceedure at the begining of the BIOS section as there are a few ways in which certain motherboards can do this from moving a jumper to removing the battery.
