    hello,
i am new at over clocking. is there a "simple " website that will introduce me to it?
it can be very confusing and i see a lot of warnings of possibly burning the chip up....

    thanks

Sorry mate, your not going to be doing any overclocking with that motherboard. I dont even think there are any front isde bus options for that board. But, a good board for the Athlon XP with overclocking functions is really jsut anyboard that has the nForce 2 chipset. the 8RDA+ is a good choice, and its only about 85 dollars.(usd)

Okies there's some o/c abilities in ya ECS K7S5APro but goin' to an nForce2 mobo and 2 x 256MB PC3200 memory would get some very good performance from that XP2400+ but the PIII would heavily depend on the mobo that it's attached to though this guide should help ya but just remember that ya PIII is multiplier locked so any o/c'n is solely by FSB alone.
