hey guys. i jsut got my new p4 system and its a dfi lanparty board with 2*512mb winbond ch-5 chips and of course the 3ghz p4. i have the ram timing at 2-6-2-2 right now and i have it overclocked to 215fsb but for some reason no difference when i restart. everything works fine but it acts like i havent overclocked. what could it be. thanks.

    do benchmarks show any difference?

it could be that at speeds like that you are not going to notice a few extra Mhz as much
I've gone too far and need to move on!

I think he means no difference in his FSB. This is because you are overclocking in the OS but in your bios you have it set to keep its FSB at the stated 200. Just go into your bios and turn on something that says "let me change my FSB" or something like that. I don't know what mine is called b/c I haven't been in there for a long, long, long time. Just turn it off and then overlock in the bios not the OS.

its cause ur dfi mb might be a bit older and has the "defective" bios in it...just go to the dfi website and download the latest bios for your mb, that should fix it
