I'm new to the forums and also new to overclocking. I really don't know what "overclocking" means. All I know is that its supposed to make your computer, video card, etc. faster. How do I go about doing all this? Help is appreciated :afro:

There is also a book out now on overclocking. It is pretty good and goes over all the different chips, what stock is, what you should be able to get by overclocking ect. Also what overclocking is all about, the heat aspect.
Pretty much everything for the nOOb ,
I have been building computers for years, although I never OCed so I bought the book. Didn't teach me much, but did give some backround.
You might want to pick it up. Its $20 at most online places.
