If I had paid for a 3200+, big bucks, yes it would, but $86 bucks for a 2500+ that I run like a 3200 ain't half as bad.

I'm suprised someone hasn't responded to the memory timing thingy. It's worth checking on nforce boards.

It's mainly a heat spreader but I guess it could double as protection too...never thought of that.

It's faster, try it and see, if you have an nforce board and are running dual channel. benchmark it for yourself. I had a hard time believing it myself, sis sandra and pc mark 2002 both show it as being faster. found this on a site somewhere but no explanation why.

2-2-2-11? hmm, sounds relly odd, can u change each clock independantly of another? or is there a list of settings u chose from? like could u set it to 1-1-1-22? for example or 3-3-3-3?

Although 1T isnt possible with todays RAM technology, if you even tried something like 2-1-1-22 you would deffinetly fry your RAM

I remember the Inquirer running a story a while ago on AMD locking there Athlon XPs Multipliers, and the new revision of the chip was green. I havent yet installed everything, so i cant see for myself, but do any off u have any idea on it???
    thanks
I had a brown AQUCA Barton and managed a 2.2 ghz OC , and with the new green one managed 2.3 ghz ..can boot into windows @2.4ghz but not Prime 95 stable ..now waiting for watercooling so can boost the VCore and reach 2.4ghz. Whats the OPN/stepping ? Mines an AQXEA 0327 MPMW .

Your chip should be automatically unlocked by your mobo .

Good luck with your OC ,
