AsianBatman your rig runs rather hot for having a Thermaltake HSF.

    Mines 25-30 idle and 35-40 load @ 3ghz.

I hear this everyday. Ppl complain that their fully capable cpu is slowing down their gfx, when it is really the gfx card. A 3ghz p4 aint gonna help in this situation.
I got the same cpu(maybe the stepping is different?) and all my gfx are clear and fast. Even before when in the heatwave @all stock speeds. As for the overclock, intel chipsets are usually on boards that dont oc. All I did was turn the fsb to 133 from 100 on my board. And voila, magic 1.6ghz. :thumb: I don't think that would be possable with the stock hsf, I didnt want to find out. Oh and on all comparisons, it beats a p4 1.7/1.8 with pc800ram. Need to know more about your machine.
