3 gig pagefile is ENORMOUS. Virtual Memory is a LOT slower than RAM so keeping that to a minimum is ideal, however your RAM is slow too so you are kinda screwed there. Not to mention fragging your drive with a gigantic swap file.

DDR would be a huge boost.

what kind of problems r u haveing...? untill i get my p4 rig up im using this old ass p3 1ghz with 512 pc133... its got a ti4200 oc'd to 331/666 and i get 60-90fps on ut2k3 at 1280x1024 with all settings on max and anti off but trilliniar on, also i would have to agree that a 3gig page file is outragiouse, sometimes it might actualy slow ur system down, (this is the explination my mcse teach. gave me) ur system sees a PF(page file) as ram so it will load everything it can into ram, but if u have a small or no PF (i got none) then ur system might perform better., but ultimately a new mobo will help u out, might wana consider a new vid card too if its fps ur after...(im a nvidea guy myself) so id sugest a fx5900U or a ati 9800 pro, or if money is tight a regular 5900 provides about 10% less of the Ultras performance a fx5600ultras there pritty good, also there dx9, alast a 9700pro is a great card also.

WTF!?!?!!?? 60-90 FPS???? I get like 25-30 at best. What other settings do you have that i might be able to use? any tweaks that i might be missing? i'm ocing to my card's max, vsync off, mipmap detail turned down, another setting in the nv drivers turned to performance...anti-aliasing turned off, bi-linear. hm...well, i guess my pos Albatron Ti4200P Turbo is a **** card that was way overpriced. Paid $180 for the damn thing.

60-90 fps? either you are lying or just dreaming, with that rig i doubt you got that high, so prove it with a screen.

Not possible on that CPU...not without lowest settings.

ok well u want a screen, then u need to tell me how to post one, and i will. i have all the filtering OFF except triliniar, i have the nvidia lever on "performance" instead of quality, as i cant tell the differance with this **** monitor and half-ass card. and as i posted it was badly oc'd when i play, ill install the game again and make a screenie for u guys...

ok just made a run on the game...hers my results, i guess i was overdoing it on my claims of 60-90 on 1280x1024, with everything on max and triliniar, but i ran it at 1024x768 with everything on "high" or "higher" settings with thriliniar, card oc'd to 289/671 anything higher crashed the system. as i mentioned, ****ty monitor so anso and fsaa dotn relly show a differance other then fps drop.
