Thread: Asus P4T-E with 533fsb

    I heard somewhere that i can flash my mobo's (Asus P4T-E) BIOS with one from P4T533 so i can install a Pentium 4 with 533 fsb. I have P4@1.6 and i want something faster.Help anyone?

    dude, if that's a P4 1.6 w/ a 400FSB, you can get that to run insanely fast, like 2.5GHz on air cooling. Those chips overclock incredibly well, look into it :thumb: . : peace2: Mista K6

    jrdn you will have to ignore him. He would blow anyone, if it got him a couple extra points on the benchmarks.

    Anyway back to the post, yea mista k is probably right. Those can overclock pretty high if you have the right ram. What is the highest ddr you can support?

    I was basically saying that if he overclocked his 1.6 it would kick a lot more ass than it does now.
