    I finally have my new cpu and motherboard! I'm really happy with it! And it runs very smooth! I have bought a XP1700+ and a ECS motherboard with 512mb ddr! The Xp is also GREEN!
    My System:
    AMD XP1700+@XP2000
    ECS K7S5a Motherboard
    512 MB PC2700 DDR Ram
    Geforce 2 Pro 64 MB

    What model m/b? And we did discuss the CPU clour somewhere else.

    Yes a very stable and quick board, though not friendly to overclockers, but the one here with the 1.2C Athy in it hasn't givin' us any probs over the few months that it's been here. :thumb:

    I have already flashed my bios, now i am able to overclock it! I already tried it at 138mhz and it is now running stable at 1530. But i think i set it back to normal because i don't want stress my cpu after two days i have bought it! There is also a setting to let it run at 150 mhz but i don't now if my memory can handle it! So that will mean that my cpu will run at 1650! (11*150)

    And i have a problem i don't think it can run at 150mhz because it is impossible to change the voltage in the bios only on the chip!
