Hi all, im a first time overclocker so forgive me if I miss out some vital piece of info :)

Anyways i have a Athlon XP Barton 2500+ "AQXEA" and im trying to get it to FSB200 (which should be a piece of cake or so i hear :))
When i run it at 200 the comp will boot ok but will stop at the windows screen with the blue loading bar (still moving) but there is no Hard-Drive activity and will not boot into windows.
BTW: The V-core is at default ( i dont wanna screw with it ;))

    Motherboard : Asus A78NX Deluxe 2.0
Memory : Corsair DDR PC3200 2x256 Matched pair
    CAS Latency 2.0
    RAS to CAS Delay 2
    RAS Percharge 2
    Cycle Time 5

    Thanks in advance

Lower the multi and try again. It is probably running too much mhz and needs more vcore thus rebooting while loading windows.

what tpe of cooling ar u using? also, in bios, does it detect the hard drive?

i run the same CPU at 200x10 with a vlcano 7+ at a vcore of 1.7v with a acrlyic case (4 fans) and it is at 45 at load. it may be ur cooling problem.

i have had ur problem with windows 2000. i jacked the cpu from stock to 200x11 at first try without vcore change and window just hang on me. i had to reformate my whole HD, and then lower my cpu to 200x10 to get back normal.

Did you lock the AGP/PCI bus to 66/33mhz? They don't like being overclocked.
