When running Prime95 to see if everything is stable do you really need to run it for 24hrs or how long do you usually run it for to consider your system stable?

I stress my systems 6 hours b4 I dare to call them stable, but longer periods doesn't hurt.. :2cents:

6 hours is the bare minimum. try to hit at least 12. 24 is best.

personally, my current settings hit an error around 15hrs. but i'm fine with that

I run it for about 2 mins. If it fails the first test I change some settings and try again. If it passes the first test it almost always passes 3DMark01 so its good. After that it goes back to daily settings.
