I know there are many different Timings such as Cas and Ras latencys for memory, but in motherboards such as the A7N8X-Deluxe they allow you to set your own preferred timings. So whats the point of buying low latency memory? I may have the wrong concept, so if anyone would clear this up for me. Thanks

The point of buyin' LL memory is that common memory just can't handle those sort of aggressive timings especially when pushed past its limits but LL memory can be slowed down when well past its.

I see... so if higher latency memory was to be pushed to very low latency via bios then it will be unstable and crash?

That's very likely but ya can increase the voltage to it and that may stabilize it.
