    Hey
I got Intel Pentium 4 1.5ghz Hevlet Packard with Socket 423 and with 640MB of PC600. I wanna overclock it to like 2ghz if its possible, i got 2 fans that came with my pc but i installed another one and its 40 Degrees Celcius all ways. I heard its possible for them to go up to 70 something degrees. I checked on my BIOS and there is VCORE voltage controlling section but i can't control it for some reason. What do i need to do?? Change some jumpers that will enable me to add more voltage to processor or what, please help!!!

    thanks

If its pre-built, there's probably a 90% chance that it has an intel, foxconn, or other "stable" mobo builder. I.e. they run at their specifications and thats it, and you can try flashing all you want, it wont do a thing  . Ahem, check the name on the mobo before you do anything :thumb: . : peace2: Mista K6

    -MSI GF4 Ti4200 128MB @ 284/581
    -7200 RPM Maxtors: 60GB (2MB) on mobo and 160GB (8MB) on ATA/133 PCI Card
