    i want to overclock my p4 2.53 northwood cpu, however cant seem to access the bios from startup... ... is there any software that can access it for me?

    well maybe because your computer is an OEM. when you purchase computers from Dell,Compaq or whatever, they usually lock all overclocking options. ÜÜÜ

    how could i unlock these? new mobo ? new driver ? anyone any ideas? :P:P

    They don't "lock" the overclockin' options for the simple fact that they ain't there to start with. The only possible overclockin' ya have is a program called SoftFSB but ya'll have to do some homework on findin' out which pll chip ya mobo uses as this is how SoftFSB munipulates the FSB but ya'll still be limited in ya overclockin' abilities as there is no way that ya can change voltages.

    Search on Google for ClockGen. Great overclocking tool that I use. But the only bad things is it adjusts everything if u OC ure CPU..

    Sorry but that's how a computer works, everything is run in relation to the FSB.
