Thread: overclocking my 1100 duron

    Wonder if there r any hopes of overlocking my 1100 duron with 832 meg of pc133 ram wit 300 watt ps and case with 2 fans.i know the name of cpu is morgan. This is my side comp would like to fiddle wit it but has anyone had any luck wit those cpu's.


    1100 duron
    ga-7zx rev 1.0 mobo
    832 pc 133 ram
    300 watt ps
    White case wit 1 intake and 1 takin air out
    gforce2 mx400 vid card lol i love it.


    Anythin else needed ask lol.

    Just increase the FSB as the CPU requires that the L1 bridges be closed to manipulate the multiplier but ya won't get more than 1300-1400MHz out of it though switchin' to a mobo with DDR memory will give ya more performance as that SDRAM is the major bottleneck of ya system. Watch ya temps though as they're already high and a better HSF is advisable.

    ya i would very much like to have new mobo and better ram but lol use all my money i can spare on my new comp.what that about L1 bridges. Where can i get a good link how to do that stuff.
