Running a Albatron KX18d PRO II, a barton XP2500 (unlocked), 1gb of OCZ dual channel pc3500 ram, two 120 gig Maxtor 7200 rmp 8mb cache hard drives, 9800 XT 256 Mb vid card, DVD burner,cd burner, Thermal take alum V2000 case and thermal takes water cooling (sucks), thermal take 480 watt power supply.
I can run at 2.37 pretty stable, runs like a dream at 2.26 11x205. What can I do to get above 2.4? The multipliers are totally unlocked, but it does not seem to make a diffrence if I use a Higher multiplier and lower fsb, or higher fsb and lower mutilplier. The voltage is set at the max of 1.9 temps are in the 41C range. Ram timmings are 7 3 3 2, it's running at 405mzh when @11X205. Is there anything else left to do that I am not doing? Thanks to all that replies. I am a newbie, like most, self taught, please keep your replies simple, like me!!!!! LOL thanks all. Jeff B.

Every CPU has a limit and it sounds very likely that ya've found the limit of your's.

    Cooling is the key.

The thermal take water cooling drop the temps by 10 to 12 degree compared to the thermaltake volcano 11, I just expected more. How about the ram timings, is there anything I can do better with this? I had pc 3200 in it and went to PC3500 with the same results, both was OCZ with the same timings. Thanks Wiggo for your reply, I read alot more than I post on this great forum!

Well he could always go pelt, or phase change. Although I wouldnt recommend it. Thats what I meant. : peace2:

Compared to phase change, his temps are "not" fine...

For comparison, where a Barton maxes out at 2.5Ghz on normal ambient air and conventional air cooling, it would reach 3.0Ghz on a good phase change unit.

Not worth the price to most but to some it is.

Yes, but I was assuming he wouldn't want to shell out the $700 for Phase Change.
