Thread: how to change volts on msi mobo

    Im trying to give my 2.0a ghz a boost by oc but i think i need more volts. I tride bios but it didnt let me. if i try going past 2.0 my computer will shut down.

    MSI mobo
    intel pentium 4 2.0a
    768MB 333mhz
    GF fx5600 256 mb
    agp x4

    i used cpu-z, clock gen and PC Wizard

    if its the same as my msi mobo go into the bios (hit delete at the POST screen) then frequency/voltages setting then change the vcore

    If this is still the same mobo that we already spoke about here then unless ya can find someone who has already done a physical voltage mod of that mobo then ya just plain outa luck.

    before wen i had my older procceser (celeron) it let me change the vcore. im trying to get that option back.

    Well this is the 3rd time now that I've been thru the manual for that mobo and it still tells me that the BIOS doesn't have that option.
