OK, so the answer to my question is YES I need new rams. This is my plan. I'm going to buy PC3500. Also, I'm going to buy them of newegg. Ok... now after 2 secs in the memory forum, I've noticed that there are rams that are good n bad for overclocking. Can someone tell me what to get from www.newegg.com. Also, I my price limit is under $100 per 512mb stick.

Maybe you can get it to 2, but what you found has CAS latency of 2.5. You want something with CL2.

But that's quite a bit over your budget... I guess you can get what you found, but I personally I would rather spend the extra to get something with better timings.
Edit: Almost forgot. You can get it at an acceptable price, assuming you have room for 4 sticks:

A little OVER my price budget??? LMAO That's more than double my price budget. I know I want 1gb total so I was thinking I'm getting the second one later. I spended like $400 total on my whole system. Don't do the calculation, I got the some of the expensive stuff by other means. But seriously, if I get the rams to showed me, Im assuming I will really notice the speed difference or will be able to OC to a faster speed. Is that right?

Also, I understand that 1gb of RAMs is not neccesary, but when I do stuff with video editing, I use more than 512 mb. FreeMEM Pro showed me. If I get 2X256mb of PC3500, which I'm assuming is better than 2x512mb of PC2700.

I'll have 512mb total. Will Studio 9 need more RAMs to perform in a stable environment? Will it take less time to compile a movie? Another thing is will I be able to OC my processor more due to the amount of RAMs or the quality of RAMs.

Also, I only have 2 slots.

Edit: Ok, this wat my friend told me to get instead of Kingston or w/e it was called.

Either I get that or 2X256mb as I I written above.
