Default what to set to get best performance

    i have 1 gb of pc3200 ram, p4 3.0ghz northwood, and a asus p4p800-e deluxe mobo (865pe chipset).

i was wondering what should i set it to to get max performance?

i have it currently set to 10% overclocking and its at 3.3ghz but i want to manul overclock it and see if i can get more performance. so i was wondering what should i set my cpu externam frequency (MHz), DRAM Frequency, AGP/PCI Frequency (Mhz), CPU VCore Voltage, DDR Reference Voltage, AGP VDDQ Voltage, Performance mode, and what ever else i need to set.

    thanks in advance

I Can get my P4 3.2 up to 236 insted of the normal 200 in the bios... and its stable but everything over that and its get unstable. i have had it at 239 a few times but its not 100% stable.. but its with out volt modding at all........ and im looking for some good advice on voldmodding it to get it even higher...
and if u clock it to high u mobo will just stop it from booting..

yes, i know i have set it to 227 = 3.4 on my comp and it wont go up anymore. if it dies it just doesnt even boot up.... ha

hey what should i use/need to see if its stable? because it seems stable to me and the funny thing is after manuely setting all the setting instead of using the asus overclocking it has been running 5 C cooler then before.

    here is my comp now...

    edit:

oh.. should i have the turbo mode on or off and what does that do? if some one can answer this for me that would be cool.

A lot of folks use either Prime95 or one of the Folding@ series utilities to stress test the system for stability. While these are both good methods to use, anything that forces the system to use 100 CPU and system resources will do the trick. If it crashes after a couple of hours (or sooner), then you aren't perfectly stable.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Turbo Mode so I don't know if it is a good thing to enable.

U should be able to get it to 230 in FSB without any problems.... if u use a good active cpu cooler... im using ZALMAN CNPS 7000B-AlCu and U have a ok airflow inside the tower.
i can get it to 236 and stille stabel... but over that it somethimes **** op... \smile
