    Default AMD Duron (Morgan) Overclocking

I have an AMD Duron (Morgan) 1Ghz cpu on an MSI motherboard that let's me change the cpu & pci clock speeds but not the voltage. I would like to increase the voltage to increase system stability. I looked at the http://www.ocinside.de/index_e.html Duron guide of cutting and penciling the CPU but when looking at my CPU, I saw something completely different. In the guide, it says to obtain 1.85V (the max) all L7 bridges need to be connected. Currently, my CPU runs at 1.76V and all L7 bridges are connected. Furthermore, where the website had L1, L3, L4, L6, and L7 areas, my CPU has L1, L3, L4, L10, L5, L6, L7, and L11. I have posted pics of these below.

Can anyone tell me how to increase the voltage from these bridges? Any light at what I'm looking at would help. Thank you.

just white out L5, L10, and L11 and you are good to go.

Seeing as that CPU is a Morgan core and not a Spitfire then this guide is what you need, http://www.ocinside.de/html/workshop..._painting.html

Be careful when you start penciling. Make sure to use a .7 lead or stronger (ie use a mechincal pencil) make sure to shade in diagonal lines and not straight down.

OK, thanks wayout44. Looks like I have to bridge only one set in L11.

Anyone know where I can learn more about what each area does (becuase my chip has more areas than illustrated at ocinside)? Also, does anyone know if the L2 cache can be increased or decreased by changing these areas?

    EDIT: I found this

But if you can throw more links at me, it would be much appreciated.
