    sounds to me the BOOT of your C drive got thrashed. reinstall windows....

    Yeah I've noticed that too, but sometimes it is the only option, or is a lot faster than figuring out all the little things you did wrong... And you don't have to be an ass about it.

    It wasn't even related to Windows, as I said in my post. And he was trying to be funny in a way to capitalize on my problem, so I was an ass about it.

    With the CPU/memory ratio set to DDR400 (1:1) and the FSB set to 250MHz you're trying to get that PC3200 to run at 250MHz also (some PC3200 can do this but will require a huge boost in voltage to do so).
    Now it you use the DDR333 (5:4) setting with the FSB at 250MHz your memory will be running at its proper speed of 200MHz.
    eg: my 2.4C runs a 295MHz FSB, yes that's 3.54GHz with 1.65v core and the memory set at DDR333 (5:4 and 2.8v) my PC3500 runs at 236MHz.
    Also I hope that you locked the AGP/PCI buses at 66.66/33.33.

    Yea, I locked. Thank you so much for your help wayout! If I didn't have bunch of homework I'd do it this second! I'll let you know possibly tonight.
