    Default Sempron OC

    Hey all,
Im new to the forums here so hey everybody!
I just made a secondary system with extra money saved after building an AMD 64 system. I want to have some fun OCing this machine
As I have heard Socket A semprons are clock locked.
And that there is a way to unlock it by conecting bridges on the processor itself. Athlon Xps you connnect the L1 bridges.
Are these the same ones for the Socket A Semprons?
If Not, which bridges should I connect?
If you have OCed a Sempron please share your stories.
I have checket the 'net and found nothing (maybe Google is falling behind?)

Just up the FSB and don't mess with the multipier. I ran a Sempron 2500+ retail HSF and all to a 187mhz FSB with no voltage adjustments or anything.

    thx for the advice.
By the way its a Sempron 2200+ on a DFI KM266Pro MB
I was really suprised how cool AMD Semprons run!
I yanked out my RadioShack Indoor/Outdoor Digital Thermometer
and at idle it was running at 35C! With stock cooling! the only difference was I used AS3 instead of the thermal pad.
Thats pretty darn cold for a newer processor.
Its like the old Pentium 2 days in terms of running temp.
I should write a guide explaining the ease of tweaking the AMD Sempron line of processors.
    I'll try OCing it now....

That 2500+ runs 45C load with the thermal deal they put on the HSF, at the OC, with no case fans.

    That is pretty good!
I have 2 case fans just to be safe.
