I removed the Intel stock fan of my PIII 933 MHz CPU and installed a Thetmaltake Golden Orb. After that the Motherboard BIOS hangs and don't let me overclock my CPU anymore. The BIOS only boots with the stock speed. My CPU was previously OC'ed with it's stock fan. How the new fan cannot let me OC anymore?? Please Help!!

did you try switching back to you intel fan?

that's the first thing I would do.

What were you temps like with the old HS?

    What are they like now?

Is the orb installed properly? - what kind HS compound did you use?

the GOrb is a peice of garbage - but I wouldn't think it would be much worse than the stk Intel HS

I don't know what's available in your area - but if you want to overclock the GOrb is not for you

Look for a Dragon Orb 3 or a Volcanoe 7+ if you like Thermaltake
