thanks for the tips but the Clockgen that I downloaded does't have the ram frequency I saw the Clockgen on P4 and it's like thise....

    mine it's like thise...

I also have the core center but it's nothing special (I can change vcore memory voltage agp voltage and the fsb nothing more)
I don't have anything to see my ram frequency so how can I keep it arround 200 if I can see it !?!? if you know software of thise kind to amd 64 please tell me...

    You can use A64 Tweaker:

    http://home.exetel.com.au/codered/A6...r_V0.6beta.zip

And that will allow you to adjust memory stuff in windows. I suggest you do it in BIos. If you set the ram to 166MHz in bios, you will be able to up the FSBto 230 and the ram will be around 200.

ohh I anderstand now!!! thanks casecutter
thise time I was able to put it to 250 FSB
But anyway I need a better RAM's for thise, I don't know why but I never saw any mainboard for socket 939 with more than 400Mhz RAM, like 533....

You don't need better RAM. Just use a divider and the RAM you have will not limit your max CPU clock.

ok... but I don't know what's a divider...(I remind you that inglish it's not my language) if you are able to explain it to me, I would appreciate.

ok I've searched and I have a better idea of divider (lol) but I don't know who to control it, and I need more details.....if you are able to help me I would thanks

IF you are looking for maximum system performance then you need better ram. If you are just looking to overclock your processor, your ram will do. By setting your ram to 166MHz in bios, you set a ram divider. That means you have the ram running at a different speed than the CPU. The AMD64 processor is not as fussy about the ram running at the same speed as the CPU. Just keep experimenting and you will figure it all out. Here is a guide to look at that may help you figure out overclocking an AMD64 system:

Keep asking questions. I check here every day or two and the others will keep chiming in too. THe only way to learn is to ask questions.

I did some cpu tests with 3dmark to see if the computer crash. I use the RAM at 166mhz and the FSB at 200,220,230,240. did'nt crash but when I put the 240FSB and pess "run 3dmark" the FSB changed to 262 automatically (because of that I did'nt go any further than 240). I don't understand... ,the "dynamic overclocking technology" is disabled in BIOS, anyway here is the scores:
    200Mhz*9/166Mhz=3776
    220Mhz*9/166Mhz=4774
    230Mhz*9/166Mhz=5158
    240Mhz*9/166Mhz=5442

New question... how can I know where my system is stable with OC !?~
(my CPU temps are 25C idle and 30C load with no OC)
