Thumbs up opty 165 in hand!!!!!!!!!!fx-60 time!!!!!

    eh guys,
fedex guy just left after i brought him in to stare at my watercooled box(his jaw hit the ground )anyway im gonna pop it in a few minutes and start tweaking.heres my stepping CCBBE 0610DPMW,says i got a good 1? im excited as hell.

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=96900

CCB1E and CCBBE are the best steppings for 165s. G/L! quoted from somebody?forgot who

Known good steppings that are capable of 3ghz:
    CCB1E 0550VPMW
CCBWE 0550UPMW (Some are crappy actually)
    CCB1E 0605XPMW
    CCB1E 0606VPMW
    CCB1E 0608MPMW
    CCB1E 0609FPAW
    CCB1E 0609FPMW
CCBBE 0610DPMW<----mine!! im so happy im ready to jump out the window
    CCBBE 0615DPMW

    Honorable Mention:
    CCBWE 0530TPMW (2.9ghz avg.)
    CCBWE 0546XPMW (2.85ghz avg.)
CCBWE 0609FPAW (Unconfirmed precise averages, but seems to be 2.8-2.9)

AVOID if you want to hit 2.8ghz+:
    CCBWE 0534SPMW
    CCBWE 0543TPMW
    CCBWE 0546MPMW
    CCBWE 0551 (Any packing code) (2.7-2.75ghz 1.55v)
    CCBWE 0602 (Any packing code)
    CCBWE 0607 (Any packing code) (2.65ghz 1.55v)

anyway its at 2.7ghz 1.35 volts priming now. cas 2.5-3-3-6 fsb 300 (keep in mind im running 4 gigs =l )
    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=104234
thing runs cool and im really impressed within the first 30 minutes here.ehe welded some stuff at local resterant made quik $300 in 2hours(paid for chip) ,life is good....bf2 tonight!can i get a dam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

    this thing is truely amazing
1.1.29v(stock voltage-auto)volts gets 2.7np(i want stabilty for gaming, and long life, grateful and not going higher )
    2.300fsb cas 2.5-3-2-5 150 divider,ldtx3(fsb lil higher then i like,but i wanted 2.7 and im locking it in)
3.scored 1,100 points higher ovoiusly in my cpu test 3dmark06 overall from sandy to opty 5411vs5980(a lil tweaking 6k broke np*keep in mind i had 7900gtx on highest quality settings, not overcloked 1 bit aa\af on,not performance like i should for 3dmark?)
    4.runs identical temps to my sandy 3700(both compared at 2.7ghz)36 idle-46 load,nf4 33 idle-41 load.

if anyone wants to respond to any of these statements plz adress a number a pointed them on the question number(like on statement #2 man u suk ass etc, lol)

needless to say im beyong happy, beyonddddddddddddddddd happy!im not sure if i can consider myself having a fx-60(lil higher)or not?can i? anyway its unbelivable smooth and that amd dual core optimizer driver was installed btw from jump so i think dont need any more dual core drivers etc..would someone plz make me happy and tell me they hate me already!!!!!!!!!!!!!lmao!!!!!! *3700sd sits on shelf with load in pants watching his replacement go* lol

so i guess im like few here and others who scored a fx-60 for under $300

pertaining to video cards...prices are relative with them

cpus prices are not relative with speeds in comparison fx60 $1,000 opty165 $288

+ watercooling setup under $500 alot ugh $2975 or so plus some time we will say heh..its mind blowing fast, incredibly quiet and smooth

amd 64 3700 san diego is going in new dfi ultra d,x850xt,2 gigs ocz plat, single 36 raptor as new beater box, should do 3.1 on swiftech helicoil h\s here np at all being it did 2.7 for me with stock volts using 4 gigs of ram let alone 2 gigs of ram.2gigs is alot easier to get higher clocks yet my 4 gigs in my main are at 300fsb np right now as we speak with 1.29 volts on my opty 165(fx-61?)...i game and want no issues on the hardware end.theres always going to be faster better but i insist on dfi ultra d mobos, ocz plat ram, raptor drives and only pc power and cooling\ocz powersupplys for my own rigs.but if u spend the money and buy 1 thing at a time like i did(stuffs expensive!)u get really amazing results in the end vs is it my ram, powersupply, mobo, hard drive questions.

prime 95(blend test option is a must)8 hours minumum

Getting cheaper hardware to perform equally or better than their more expensive, higher end siblings is also very easily done in the video card world.

~$300 7900GT vs ~$500 7900GTX, GTs are easily clocked to over 700 on the GPU with adequate cooling, 800 is just a pencil mod away.
