    hi all,

    i am awaitin new mobo in post for monday o tuesday and would not know of oc options that cum with the board and i would appreciate all the help u guys cud give me

    my new specs :

    e6300 core 2 duo and asus en7600gt 9500 zalman is keepin my e6300 cool at 25*c on stock runnin at 1.86ghz

    im upgradin bit by bit at the moment but my cpu and graphic card are the next to go on my list

    just all the help u guys could give me wud be much appreciated as i hav never changed voltage on motherboard or oc the memory b4 sayin that ive never changed the clock multiplier tooo

    Just looking at the psu, I don't know if it will have enough grunt, what brand is it and what are the amps on the 12v rail(s)?

    looking to get this 1300w power supply but hav to get more cash

    i hav 4 gigs of memory and motherboard due in the morning through the post

    i already hav an e6300 lookin to get q6600

    and for time being using my 7600gt card but want to get 8800gt sli or a crossfire set up

    eventually so if i get this power supply i can future proof my pc as i wont need a psu for a while

    I could write up a guide for you if you like but bear with me as it may take a day or so. Having read this I would presume as much detail as possible is required

    I gather you have raised the FSB on a pc overclock before and that's about it yes??

    Also what speed are you aiming to go for here? are you going to oc the e6300 first or wait for the Q6600 to arrive?

    i am looking to overclock e6300 .On my crappy asrock motherboard i get cpu temperature
    of 25*c with my e6300 i am using a zalman 9500 hsf

    but my p5k should come in the morning

    and i want to clock the e6300 and memory as fast and stable as possible if you could tell me what speeds and voltage and like you said make an easy to use guide for me would be much appreciated as i dont have the foggiest what to do

    heres my specs for now

    asus p5k . 4gb geil ultra pc6400 800mhz . e6300 . zalman 9500 . asus en7600gt cooler master aerogate

    also what do u think of this for memory cooling

    sorry about the size of picure but thats the memory cooler i want to get (looks good dont it)
    (plus i want my pc to look like that in the end :) )

    ummmmmmmmm very pretty colours, not my thing though lol, I wouldn't mind having a go at liquid cooling one day though.

    You're GMT so that makes it 4.10am over there right now???

    I guess we'll see you back in a few hours then when the board arrives and gets installed
