Default Gigabyte ex38 ds4 overclocking problem

    I has a gigabyte ex38 ds4 two months ago, i used to my q6600 processor at 9x400 = 3.6 that was stabile

But i has memory problems about that motherboard thats why i changed it with new ex38 ds4 but now its not working at 9x400 its working at 8x450, i dunno why how can i use it with 9 multiplier

But its working at 360 fsb with 9 multiplier (3.25), i updated the bios to f3 but its still same

its not important cuz i can do 3.8 with 8 multiplier but i wanna know why i cant do 3.6 at 9x with same model motherboard

NB hot to the touch? You may want to add a fan to it, and add some voltage to FSB and MCH as well if you havent.

When you flash the BIOS with Qflash be sure to load optimized defaults, then save and apply F10 and reboot then make your changes on the next boot into the BIOS. This is a MUST
