Default A little help for beginner oc please

    Hi .
People say that 3.6Ghz (379x9.5) at (1.304v actual) = stable but i want to go slowly to 3GHz , 3.2GHz , 3.4GHz , 3.6GHz so I can learn. (if my cooler can handle it of course but i dont know what to change now cuz 2.70GHz (360x7.5) is how far I can go with theese settings.

I understand, that memory, CPU & GPU must run on same speed? ( I have no idea how to do it, too many numbers. )

Can someone please explain what to change & Why?

Please read the guide I have pinned in the Gigabyte section here >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/giga...g-guide-26112/

Sounds like are new to this, but want to learn. That is good! You will find after reading you will know MUCH more about your BIOS and why your trying to overclock is failing right now (AUTO is your issue, to much AUTO!). Then, after you read some and have a try at it again, please post your full specs again here or the Gigabyte section and I will help. I mainly wanted to know what the sticker on your ram says for voltages, I see your board and CPU listed.

Also, here is a Memory Guide, which will add to your overclocking knowledge >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/memo...vs-bios-27283/

Like I said, I WILL help!

I post settings all day long, I just asked that you read thru those guides for a few reasons. Main one is you said you WANTED to learn and that is a great start.

Once you do some reading, and then are still stick feel free to post again your settings that you are on then and I will post back suggestions. No need to add the [can be..x-x] next time either (Just to save you some time)
