Its not at 1.7, that was just an example. The bsod actually did say to check for bios updates. No more since. Well thanks

Very odd, I don't think I have ever seen a BSOD say that, but I guess it could happen?

Ok, well your example just worried me but yes if you need to set 1.58 for example to get 1.5 at idle then that would be the only way to work around that.

Or use LLC or a Mod

I guess the bsod was some sort of new win 7 bsod. I love this os! Anyways, my vdroop seems to be about .4. Idle vcore is 1.44 and load is 1.39. Ive been looking around for that pencil mod but couldnt really find much

Jus raise much more the Cpu vcore to 1.48v, Q6600 has safe voltage up to 1.5v(Intel specifications), so the only problem is heat.
