Hi All!

I am new to overclocking so forgive the stupid questions. I have an Asus P5k motherboard, Intel E8400 3.0 Duel Core Processor and 8 GB of Kingston DDR 2 HyperX 1066mhz Ram. I am running Windows 7 Pro 64. According to CPU-ID my Ram speed is represented as PC2 6400(400mhz). But on the Ram it self it is given as PC 8500??

Does this mean my Windows or motherboard doesn't detect the ram correctly? I bought this Ram because it is rated at the same speed as my motherboard's FSB which is also rated to run at 1066mhz.

I adjusted to DRAM voltage to 2.2 and also the the timings to 5-5-5-12. I also set the ram speed to 1066mhz in the bios. Do I need to change FSB speed?

Any advice will be appreciated.
