    Angry Oc ram + cpu

    Hi there,just need a bit of help.Ive found thread on this forum about my MB,but with different CPU,so im sorry if its same topic,just want to be sure that every1 counts with my setup.So,my setup is:
    MB:Gigabyte EP43T-USB3
    CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q9550 @ 2,83GHz
    RAM: Kingston 2x2GB 1600MHz CL8 (KHX1600C8D3K2/4GX to be correct)
    GPU: ATI Radeon HD5770
    Windows 7 Ultimate,fresh instalation

    Well,my problem is that i cant run RAMs at 1600MHz when my BUS is set at 333MHz.So ive tried to rise it up to 400MHz,CPU freq at 3,4GHz with multiplier at 8,5,didnt change the CPU voltages,just tried once 1,35V Vcore.RAM timing was 8-8-8-24,RAM voltage 1,66V(Unable to set 1,65V-steps are at 0,02V).

    While ive been trying to run it at this setup,PC freezes at Windows loading screen or doesnt get so far,many times restart right after start logo.(Many times means rly many,like 30times reboot after logo and unable to get into BIOS or even to do quick recovery from second BIOS :/ )

    So,does any1 have any info how to solve this prob-to run CPU about 3,4GHz,DDR =>1600 ? TY for all ideas ;)
    BTW: Im sry for my english if there are some/loads of mistakes ;)

    If you need any info about PC,settings, ect,just post it.Ill try to get it all,cant find help elsewhere :(

    Hi,there are my default specs from bios.
    Im new in OC and wanted to get CPU over 3,4GHz,400FSB for 1600MHz DDR with CL8 or higher freq with CL9,but i dont know what to change to get it,so hope that you can help me to figure it out

    Try this for 3.4Ghz for now, if you have a good cooler you can likely go higher if you want.

    Well,got after few seconds in system BSOD 74 and on second try 109.Cant find the database and dont have more time to try different settings.Work sux :(

    tRFC is 110ns for this RAM so definately set it to 88. I'd leave all advance timings auto to begin with, then you can play after you get started.
    There's not much benefit for DDR-1600 at 400MHz FSB so you may try DDR-1333 multiplier 3.33D with 7-7-7-19/20 timings, that would be just as good performance wise.

    It would help if you add your system specs to your forum signature, including the link to ram data sheet
