Yes, if you have good cooling 4Ghz is easy with 8400.

Sorry though, I personally can't help with your BIOS settings as I only know Gigabyte BIOS. Hopefully someone who knows Asus BIOS will stop in to help you out.

BIOS Version you can find in CPU-z Mainboard tab

    Not sure, sorry buddy!

Not many users frequent these other forums sections that I see.

Have you made similar posts in another forum? If not I could like you to one where there would be much more Asus users that could help you out, let me know

Basically though, you need 450 FSB x9 CPU multi for 4Ghz.

Then set your memory voltage manually, raise MCH/NB Voltage to 1.2-1.24 for 4GB, and then find and set your own stable Vtt and Vcore settings. You may need 1.24-1.34 Vtt, and 1.25-1.4 Vcore.

Hope that helps a little bit

it says my overclock options are disabled and its in black text
if i set AI tuning to overclock i get
    X system clocks
X fsb memory config --------these 3 are in black text and i cant change them
    X CPU mutiplyer 9.0
does this mean i cant overclock?
has intell disabled the overclock feature?
    can it be bypassed?

Ya, you will need to enable those to change them, sorry not sure how you do that though. Don't you have your manual, it should tell you.

No, you can overclock with this board I am sure of that!
