its dram frequency and i have 2 options , 500 mhz and 667 mhz .. im really lost lol
i couldnt even inscrease the clock speed by 2 points on both 6 and 7.5 multiplier :S

here is a cpu id report

The board supports either DDR2 or DDR3, choose 667(DDR-1333).
If you set clock manually to 333 it works and 335 not?

ita auto and optimized at 333 , i cant increase it , the pc wont boot
i changed the fsb jumper on board for ddr3 1333 , but in bios when i chose it , it didnt boot and i had to choose ddr3 1000 , maybe cuz the timings dont match the 1333 ? theyre at 6 6 6 17

But if you set manually to 333MHz FSB it boots?
I'll have to d/l the maual see what is that jumper and what options in BIOS you have.

It's weird because the manual says the options for DDR3 are 800, 1066, and 1333, and you have 1000, 1333.
For DDR-1333 try manual memory timings 9-9-9-25-107-10-5-4-5 tCL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-tRFC-tWR-tWTR-tRRD-tRTP, and DRAM Voltage 1.5v to 1.575v

okay ill change em now , now the only thing i could change on clock speed is the mulplier from 6 to 7.5 , disabled the speedstep intel and now i have 2.5 ghz

okay i couldnt change tras to 25 cuz the max is 24
and trfc to 107 cuz the max is 78 , tried em on max and other timings like u told me , didnt boot .
the voltage of the ram is set on 1.6 , there is 1.55 and 1.50

No need to disable speedstep, the CPU throttle down when there is not much to do when under load it will run at full speed.

okay this is the final result i got .. it works on auto the ram frequency and the timing will be 9 9 9 24 , but i feel it its slower than before , so after some tries i got this to work , ddr3 1000 at 7 7 7 20 and its faster than auto with 9 9 9 and it works with 7.5 multiplier without any problem resulting in 2.5 ghz .. about the cpu speed , its at 333 optimized and auto , manual i cant change it all . so i guess here is the real issue of my motherboard .. and i heard that the core2quad q8300 is not that nice for overclocking ..
and tell me what do u think about the cpu i got honestly .. ur opinion matters

The Q8300 has only 7.5 CPU Ratio that's it's so it won't overclock very high, but with a good board it can probably get to 3.5GHz or even more, 3GHz should be easy.
Being a quad, even at stock frequency it should be strong enough for cards like the HD6770 or GTX 550Ti.

How do you mean you cannot set FSB? Cannot even set it to 333 manually?Maybe it's the FSB jumper? you can try change it back how it was before if you don't use DDR-1333.
