A lot will depend on whether that is a Palamino or Thoroughbred core. If the former then XP2200+ to the older XP2300+(1866MHz) rating is fairly easily where the later may only o/c a little as the Thoroughbred A core is really not an overclocker. A lot will also depend on the quality of the rest of your hardware as well as to how much of an o/c you'll get as well. ;)

It would also depend on what MoBo you have, which is???

Oh dear, will that motherboard even let you overclock? :?:

I don't think that you'll get far with that HSF either sorry and ECC memory usually has fits when overclocked or runs slower. :(

I havn't seen a Biostar motherboard geared to overclocking before but your's maybe different though a Volcano 7+ would be better to keep the CPU cooler when overclocking. : peace2:

THat is why it's best to do product research before you buy.

Bah SeGiY, I didn't buy it to overclock, I just bought it for my computer, I just found this site while surfing earlier this morning, and decided to ask if I could overclock. I will probs upgrade later to a better MoBo
