How are people doing to unlock them when they oc them?
Guess maybe it is some sort of dangerous mod that most people should stay away of but just curious... "pin mod" Is that it and what doe's it mean?

You can't unlock an Intel cpu. The FSB is the only option you have to overclock it. ;)

If I recall, that "pin mod" was to change voltage levels, wasn't it?

Ok, some of them claimed they had them stable at 3 ghz, but aren't they killing their procs treating them that way with so high voltage...?

As a rule of thumb, those who run the very high voltages have outrageous cooling system installed. Vapor, water, peltier, LN2...
