That's great I will definitely get that board then but I can't find out anywhere if my memory (ram) is compatible with that motherboard, I don't know if the motherboard has been updated since but the asrock website doesn't say 16gb (2x8gb) 1866mhz is compatible :/ or would that be fine, please don't tell me I have to buy new memory too, I know that memory is compatible with everything I have at the moment, the only issue is the motherboard not supplying enough power to cpu

Yeah I'll definitely look into getting a fan or something like that thanks or I could put a side case fan on it a 120mm or 150mm on the side or something....

The memory being compatible or not would best be answered by the folks who staff Corsair Technical Support. They, ASRock, are first and foremost a motherboard manufacturer and thus have a limited and in some cases outdated in-house "store' of memory with which they test. Corsair, OTOH, has much to gain by keeping up with the limited MB's manufactured vs the onslaught of memory sticks.

If you get the Extreme9 rest assured the cpu will get the req'd power. That SF Arctic(?) 1200w you have isn't an issue either. I count your system at ~740-785w

The Corsair memory finder only includes ASRock 990FX memory compatibility for the Fatal1ty 990FX Professional, 990FX Extreme3 and 990FX Extreme4 motherboards. This is the second time recently where their memory finder did not include some current motherboard models. If tech support can confirm that your current memory kit is compatible with the 990FX Extreme9 motherboard you will be good to go.

It's best if you include the memory's full model number and number of modules in your PC Specs list.

It looks like wardog is having even more fun than I am with spending your money.

I'll message corsair and ask them that's my best bet, Google had naff all :/

It will be nice when it's done and I can let you all know how it is and maybe screenshot some spec's or something

    The learning never stops.

Many or most all in one (AIO) water cooling setups works best when the radiator fans draw cooler room air into your computer case.

Then there is the need to optimize air flow inside your case where using positive computer case air pressure is usually best.

Information? Yup, we're just full of it.

    Positive computer case air pressure???

I have a 150mm fan at bottom front drawing air in, back top 2 x 120mm fans drawing air I'm (radiator inbetween push and pull fans) and two 120mm "exhaust" fans on top drawing the air out as common knowledge goes "heat rises" got a 6 fan controller, (water pump and radiator fans are all connected to motherboard as it states in warranty or it is void) so I have 3 fans on the 6 fan controller so I could happily add 3 more fans, I would just have to make where to put them myself, I always leave the 3 I have on the controller on max anyway it's just an easier way to get more fan ports.... I do have 3 spare arctic 120mm silent fans, good quality ones I just gotta find somewhere to put them haha

A web search using: computer case positive vs negative pressure will provide additional information.

You can probably help cooling your video cards by installing one or two fans mounted on the side of your case so that they blow cooler room air onto the cards.
I found that using a high 80+ CFM fan on the side of my computer case caused the video cards to run much hotter.

The attached photos show some of my prototype setups that helped with cooling my video cards.

I would have never thought to use cardboard as a fan cowling that is actually quite good, i could do with one on the gpu's and one on the motherboard directly I'll have a look, have quite a compact case at the moment haha
