Wiggo - would have thought you would have done more with your case...It looks strangly similar to my own, except i have added a few extra fans, one over the pci/agp slots and will add one 92mm exaust fan on top next weekend. sorry, I don't have a digital camera.
I've gone too far and need to move on!

That case is an Antec PP 1080AMG Case which does have a side intake plus if ya look closely ya will see the orange SMART FAN II just above the PSU that is the blowhole and the 2 front intakes are SMART FAN II's as well. Oh and if ya click on that pic above it will bring up a page givin' full details w/ links. ;)

Believe me I'll be glad to finally get those SMART FAN II's out of that case as just the blowhole on 2800rpm (full speed is 4800rpm) is noisier that the Volcano 7+ on full speed and when it get's warm here I kick the front one in that also cools the HDD (same speed again) the noise is too much. :(

The noise with all 3 goin' full tilt must be heard to be believed plus the CPU and System temps stay static at +18C and +4C above room temp (w/ 7+ on medium speed).

This one here uses the standard case with 2 x 40cfm front fans and 2 x 21cfm rear exhaust fans plus 34cfm provided by the PSU and it's temps are only +16C and 0/+1C against the room temp and ya wouldn't know that ya were in the same room with it till the 7+ is switched to full speed (on very hot days) and that I don't consider anywhere near unpleasant. ;)

Both these PC's run 24/7 under full load at every minute (except when room temps hit 38-40C, then consideration has to be given to turn SETI off) and are faultless in their operation even while playin' games while SETI is runnin' in the background. Also they have only been restarted when installed software/updates/patches have demanded one. :devil win

sheez didn't I carry on there?

OK, it's not a side shot, but I think it shows what you need to see....obviously I did the stealth mod already....working out a stealth for the floppy soon. I'm thinking of putting it in the back of the machine, under the soundcard. It's not like I NEED the thing. I can put those bays to MUCH more sinister purposes...muhahahahahaha.....

No Wiggo, no blowhole OR side fan....It's a brand-new case....I've only had it a week....and I've only just begun. I'm not sure how great a case it is as far as function, but it was at a good price, and I'm quite fond of the looks of it. Not sure I want either top or side holes unless it's absolutely necessary. I'm thinking it won't be as I reinstalled the loud stock 60mm fan in the back and it's running at 109f CPU right now. With the new heatsink and an 80mm fan to replace that 60mm, it should run cool enough for how I'll use it, and much quieter. If not, I still have a few options that I don't feel will ruin the appearance, such as adding a second larger fan vented through the front bottom of the case, filtered and with taller feet so it'll have better flow. By the way....I couldn't find specs on the stock fans, Power Logics, because I can't read Chinese... :p
A quick empirical test (Plugging the LED fan and the Power Flow and listening to them) told me the stockers are pretty quiet, and Directron rated them at 52.4dB, but had no CFM info.
Sorry to hear you're in pain friend. I really appreciate the help, especially considering that. Wordbiker:hammer:
