Ok ya just made it as the tears are runnin' now so here's go and I hope that I make sence to ya. ;)

Strip the case out after takin' some measurements and obtianin' 1 x 40cfm 80mm fan plus one 85cfm 120mm fan. Now ya fit the 80mm fan as the top blowhole. Then fit the 120mm fan low down in the side panel over the AGP/PCI cards (make sure that the fan won't foul the openin' and closin' of the side panel though). Now ya may want to check to see if ya need and can fit a small 20cfm fan for near the lower front (even the side panel again). I've picked these rated fans due to there quiet operation so as to be least offensive to the ear. Have a look at the links on the right side of my sig for some ideas. :devil win

OK Wiggo....you just WANT to see me hack big ugly holes in my pretty case, don't you? Not gonna do it....Seriously, if my solutions don't work and I still have heat issues, I may add the blowhole, but as I said before, the case side is a virgin.....for now. I have a creative windowing idea I'd like to try, and side fans have no part in it. I'll keep you posted as my work progresses....I may even write an article. I can always delete it if it comes out ugly....lol. I seriously doubt it will....after all, I'm a finish carpenter....and I have ALL the tools....he he he.

Ok then hows this then. If there's enough space under the case for air to get in then why not fit the 120mm in the floor suckin' air in from under the PC and then the side don't get touched? :?:

Ya may want a filter and/or fit higher feet. ;)

Yep, that's the plan Wiggo....the "sleeper" computer. Sleek looks concealing power. OK, maybe it's still a budget system, but Indy cars are "merely"4 cylinders...;)
The 120mm fan won't fit between the drive rails, so I'm thinking about actually raising the case enough to mount the fan UNDER it.....could be easier to deal with all the way around. Some creative sheet-metal work will take care of ducting and concealing it...
I'd better get to bed. All my creative juices are flowing and making a mess of the floor....

    Hey again!
Just thought I'd take this thread again to tell Wiggo...OK mate, you got your wish!
After recieving a couple more fans last night, I got to some careful measuring on my case.....and was able to fit a 120mm adjustable speed Enermax fan in the front of the HD bays....WITH a lot of hacking! It's a LOT quieter and moves more air than the 80mm that was there. Now that I've started hacking on my case, I plan to add a second 80mm exhaust fan in the back, another 120mm under the drive bays fitted in a custom filter shroud, and as a backup a 90mm blowhole fan. These fans are quiet once they're turned down, so I figured more fans at slow=Less noise AND more CFM, especially compared to what little airflow I have now. If I turn all the fans up after my mods, I run about 82F system and 95F CPU...
I sure appreciate all your advice friend...it's made a huge difference. I can see a fanbus in my future...:D

    LMAO!
Yeah, sure is...did all that work last night just a couple hours after recieving my stuff in the mail, and then a few hours later...ordered 3 more fans and Half-Life platinum Ed...:thumb:
Did I mention that just the night before I installed a Zalman silent heatsink, Thermaltake copper RAM heatspreader and some kewl round copper IDE cables? I swear I've had that case side off 100 times already..
I read another post of yours talking about bezel-sucking cases. That's what I have, and that's what I've been trying to fix. Looking back now, I would have been better off buying another case. Heck, I could've even bought one premodded and fancy, but how much fun would THAT be??? Still having a great time with it, and I've been taking pics of my progress....just haven't figured out how to post them yet...Tried the instructions you led me to, but for some reason, no workee.
