    you know how memory specs say like the CAS latency is 2-3-3-1T and such, i don't really understand those. i read the bios guidee at rojak but then i dont really understand it lol

    exactly what is the 1st number, 2nd, 3rd, and 1T?

    I don't think it's possible to cover the intracacies of this in a post, so I'm going to give you a couple of links.
    The first link is the short version;
    http://www.sysopt.com/articles/latency/

    This next link I would definitely put on the "recommended reading" list - it's rather in-depth but does a fair job of keeping things in plain english.
    http://www.arstechnica.com/paedia/r/...e.part1-2.html

    That second link is actually part 1 of 3, the other 2 can be found at;
    http://www.arstechnica.com/paedia/r/...e.part2-1.html

    http://www.arstechnica.com/paedia/r/...e.part3-1.html

    Set aside some time if possible and give all 3 a read, it's all kind of techno-type stuff, but it will answer your question and then some.

    Enjoy!: peace2:
