It's just the case on how far ya want to go into the darkside and the better the equipment then the better chances of gettin' further into it. Which is why I'll take the XMS3200 out of Thunder in my sig and use it in a new P4 setup that I'll be buildin' soon as it's a waste on that PC's poor Thoroughbred A core (1900MHz is all it will do and stay stable and cool though it will run at 1968MHz but heat becomes an issue w/ the core voltage needed) and lower price memory can run at the settings that the Corsair is atm. The P4 will certainly make use of all of it and Thunder is to become a server. :devil win

well i got my XP2400+ now... its actually running cooler than my 2100+ which is weird... I put a little more Arctic Silver on it this time so could that be it or do these run cooler for some strange reason? I'm only at about 32 at idle and 36 under full load. I ordered my SLK-800 and i'm returning my HHC-001 because i want to be able to reach maximum overclocking potential for what i have (so heats not an issue). So what's a good setting for overclocking this 2400+? FSB and multiplier = ?? cause i have the nvidia chipset so it should be unlocked - not goin to try it till i get my new hsf though...

    .18 > .13 = Cooler core.
