Thread: Raising FSB

    Very new to this have set Bios and MB to 133FSB now when I go to Advanced Chip I cant change the Fsb to any higher is there something that I am missing along the way is says 133 but will not allow me to enter another number.Am I in the right place in Bios or am I entering this the wrong way? I really not sure but I know I am doing something wrong any help ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.Thanks JS

    changing the fsb is done in the bios, you may need to look in different section or change something from auto, there is several things that may prevent you from changing the fsb right away, if you mobo even allows it
    I've gone too far and need to move on!

    Thanks for the reply:this board can overclock I think your right about auto/manual wish I knew where to enter manual commands to change the Bios!!!!!!!!!;So many things for a newbie to digest.Thanks.JS

    check the manual that came with your mobo, there should be a section outlining the bios
    I've gone too far and need to move on!
