Oops, more problems, this tim with heat-

Does a system of 38 and a cpu temp of 55 - 60 suggest a problem with the heatsink not recieving enough cpu heat or not dissipating enough heat?
Need a quiet solution for cooling but cant affored water etc, any ideas, im using a zalman cnps6ooo just now?
Anybody know of some good downloads for checking system temps etc and benchmarks (3Dmark?)

Im thinking about buy a tent to live in with my trust AMD just to keep my baby cool.

55 degrees is a bit hot. try using vocano 7+ with some silver compond to cool it. Also, wat type of fans do u use for ur case?

if u want a good cooling, dont use the lights and stuff. And dont buy the fans with LED lights. Once,i had 3 LED fans in my side, and it was 32 degrees, but i got some non LED ones and it was 30 degrees. So, try to make space in ur computer, and get some good case cooling. Try getting 2 back fans to take air out. One front one to get air in. and 2 side ones to get air in too. And if u can, get one on the top to get some air out.

I was considering putting a couple of my fans down in the bottom corners of the door panel to draw air in and possibly fitting a 120mm fan above the zalman heatsink as this would give the best db - cfm ratio. I also got an icestorm II inverted and blowing air out for the top cd-bay (a bit wierd i know but it seems to work)

With good case cooling system temp should be close to room temp, 38C is too hot. hsf might be fine if the case were properly ventilated

Ive got 1 papst drawing air in the bottom front now, 1 drawing air from the bottom rear, one over my 9700, 2 blowing onto my heatsink and an icestorm drawing air out from the top. Oh and the psu draws air from just above the heatsink with the 2 fan arrangment. Temps are now at 35 system and 45 cpu when idle. Sound better? I dont know if I could fit anymore fans in the beast anyway!! Whats ur system and ur temps?
